May 31-June 2, 2025. Perkáta, Győri castle
Participants will be able to meet Hungarian dog breeds. Through presentations and lectures by renowned dog breeders, researchers and historians, you can get a comprehensive picture of how these dogs have contributed to the cultural and economic life of the Carpathian Basin.
The 3-day event not only evokes the past, but also talks about the challenges of the future. How can we preserve the genetic diversity of our Hungarian dog breeds? What role can these dogs play amidst the challenges of climate change and modern lifestyle? These questions will be answered by roundtable discussions by experts.

Raitsits 100 Exhibition
It has been a hundred years, since Dr. Raitsis Emil saved our hungarian breeds from extinction. In the past hundred years, there wasn't one dogshow, that presented the lives and labor of those brave breeders, and their best friends, the dogs, without whom the Hungarikum dog breeds wouldn't exist.
During the exhibition, we present such objects, that the large audience couldn't see until now. The first pumi pedigrees, exhibition gold and silver medals, cups, antique books, and the relics of dog breeder organisations, that survived the wars.
The most important documents of the two big organisations. The first standards, exhibition evaluation sheets, and certificates. Everything, that is connected to the dogshow world. During the exhibition, we can gain insight into the mysteries of dog breeding between the two world wars.
